DESIGN BRIEF: the harvest register comes alive around one vertical act, so we set a tall palm at the centre with the tapper mid-climb and the striped sap-pots hung from the crown — a single readable column the rest of the wall organises around. At medium-light density the climb stays the clear subject while cattle, deer and pot-carrying women settle into the open cream ground without crowding. Among the Rathwa of Chhota Udepur tapping the palm for toddy is everyday livelihood, and the deer at the foot of the tree tie the work back to the forest world the Pithora honours. The mounted gods and the small parasol-shaded palanquin above keep the sacred register present over the day's labour below.

  • Natural-oak frame on cream or warm-white walls keeps the green palm and cattle warm
  • Hang in a kitchen-dining or family space where the livelihood scene feels at home
  • Pairs with cattle-grazing-herd and harvest-plough-cattle for a harvest-life trio
  • Stack beside teak-forest-honey so the central-tree composition carries across frames
  • Black frame echoes the confident outline when the room has dark wood
