Dahi Handi Pichwai-Style Print — a human pyramid reaching for the suspended curd-pot between apartment balconies of cheering residents, with cows and a lotus pond, on deep maroon cloth

Krishna stole butter from a pot hung out of reach; the society still builds a tower to get it down.

The translation problem was a Dahi Handi — all height, energy and crowd — inside a tradition that prizes calm symmetry, so we made the govinda pyramid a single tall central spire reaching the suspended handi, and turned the surrounding crowd into two flat folk apartment towers whose balconies hold cheering residents. The pyramid narrows cleanly upward so the tower reads as one motif, not a scramble. The maroon ground gives the festival its night-revel warmth, and two white cows and a lotus pond at the base keep the link to the butter-thief Krishna whose lila this re-enacts. It is Janmashtami's most athletic custom, drawn so it still belongs on a pichwai wall.
