So the lady is placed beside the shrine lifting her flower tray to the small red deity niche, with a few attendants kept low and to the side and a peacock by the lamp, while the open dawn sky and the distant palace carry the morning. The pale gold ground is the light itself; the vermillion of her dress is the single warm note that wakes the scene. We left the foreground simple so the act of offering reads first.
