We briefed this as a strict frontal deity icon, because Venkateswara is worshipped face-on and Cheriyal does a standing god beautifully when the symmetry is exact and the ground left open behind him. He stands tall on a lotus dead-centre, conch and discus in the upper hands, the varada blessing below, and the famous gesture of the lower hand pointing to his feet — the whole theology of surrender in one line. Sridevi and Bhudevi balance him on smaller lotuses left and right; the makara arch crowns the trio; and the kneeling devotees with the kalash sit low so the eye reads god, consorts, then worship. Medium fill keeps the vermilion ground breathing around the figure so he reads as a presence to stand before; flat indigo and gold against red, no shading, is the Nakashi way of giving a deity weight.
