This is the interlock-weave at full stretch — the Gond conceit where a tree refuses to stay a tree and grows into the creatures that live in it. The brief was a single continuous form: trunk flowing into deer-necks, branches becoming peacock-trains, roots twisting into serpents, so the eye can never quite say where the plant ends and the animal begins. That fusion is pure Jangarh Kalam thinking, where every shape is filled with its own meaning-bearing marks — scale-rows for the peacock trains, comma-rows for the deer, dot-bands for the snakes — and the in-fill is what tells one creature from another inside a single silhouette. Flowers and leaf-dots fill the gaps. Keeping it medium-light is essential here: the dark aubergine ground breathes at the corners so the interlocked mass reads as one elegant form rather than a tangle.
