We briefed this as a Sohrai forest band around the mahua dawn, when women sweep the cream flowers fallen overnight under the great mahua tree into baskets before the sun climbs. The design problem was the carpet of fallen blossoms, which could easily become visual noise, so we ran a diagonal-flow: the tree leans in from the upper left and the women stoop along a downward diagonal toward their baskets, the eye moving with the work. Leaving the ground a pale buff-cream lets the kaolin blossoms read as a soft scatter rather than a busy field, and a small ochre sun at the upper right fixes the hour. A deer slipping away and two peacocks keep it a living forest edge.
