We briefed this as a Sohrai elephant frieze: the wild elephants that move through the Hazaribagh plateau enter the harvest wall as a slow, blanketed procession rather than a stampede. Horizontal-frieze symmetry lets the three giants walk trunk-to-tail the way a real herd files along a forest edge, and we set the dark grey-black elephant in the centre so the line reads as rhythm — ochre, dark, ochre — instead of a wall of one colour. A central lotus and two peacocks crown the band; two deer settle the base. Keeping the elephants large and the flanking motifs spare is the point, so each animal stays readable and the terracotta ground breathes between them.
