Porsche 935 Poster — 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Racing Wall Art · framed A2

Martini stripes and a slantnose that ate the Mulsanne — the 935 earns Sarthe typography because Group 5 was never polite endurance, it was turbo silhouette warfare with number four stitched into Kremer legend.

Rank 16 documents the Porsche 935 — the Group 5 silhouette that turned Porsche's turbo flat-six into a weapon for privateers and factory-backed squads across IMSA, DRM, and Le Mans. By 1979 the Kremer K3 evolution had refined the 935's brutal aero package: slantnose flat nose, towering rear wing, and Martini Racing stripes that read from the Porsche Curves to the grandstands. The 935 did not invent Porsche endurance dominance — the 917 and 936 laid that foundation — but it stretched turbocharged Group 5 into a decade-long cultural shorthand for white-knuckle power. At Le Mans the 935 family scored class and overall podiums through the late 1970s, with Kremer's 1979 victory cementing the model as the privateer's hypercar before Group C rewrote the rulebook. Wallimilist renders the slantnose hero, Martini tri-stripe livery, number 4 roundels, and teal Sarthe frame exactly as the master PNG dictates — 1979 kicker, left vertical collection bar, and curator copy on Mulsanne-era turbo silhouette heritage.

  • Black frame on warm white walls — Martini stripes and teal border stay vivid without overpowering neutral upholstery
  • Pair with Porsche 936 or Porsche 962 at matching A2 for Stuttgart endurance chronology
  • Hang above a credenza at eye level; slantnose nose and rear wing read best with half a metre stand-off
  • Natural-oak frame suits study walls where cream parchment echoes wood beside Porsche bookshelves
  • Stack A3 beside Matra MS670 or Alfa 33TT for 1970s prototype contrast without repeating Martini geometry
  • Deep oxblood accent walls complement Martini blue without competing with white body hero
