We briefed this as the gram-sabha under the old sal: the village council that still settles matters across the Jharkhand plateau, with the manjhi headman at the centre and the elders ringed around. A crowd is the enemy of Khovar's calm, so we used radial-bloom — concentric arcs of seated figures blooming outward from the headman — to turn a gathering into one ordered emblem instead of a scramble. Everyone is the same combed line-weight, which is the political point: a council of equals around one speaker. The spreading sal above is the real meeting tree of these villages, and the cattle and lotus along the base root the assembly in the place it belongs.
