The brief was leadership made visible: a horse procession reads best when one rider is clearly out front, so Indi Raja takes the head on a large red horse under a striped umbrella, an attendant with a flag at his side. Procession-flow carried the rest — a row of pennant-bearing deity horse-riders falling in behind him, the eye travelling along the line the way the procession moves. Among the Rathwa the horse is the mount that carries the gods onto the wall, and a named lead rider gives the procession a story and a centre of gravity. The rain-cloud trailing dotted rain above ties the royal ride to the harvest the household prays for. Medium-light fill keeps each mount, pennant and rider distinct so the line reads as individuals, not a blur of horses.
