DESIGN BRIEF: chauk-central symmetry for sacred fertility — not a harvest dance panel with a musician slipped in because Warli retail defaults to spirals. Palghat Devi — goddess of trees and grain — belongs inside lagnacha or dev chauk geometry: nested square, chevron border, diamond axis, kalash at feet. Dahanu grammar adds kneeling planters above the enclosure, vessel carriers at the sides walking toward ritual centre, and horned animals below facing a sapling — the four-direction field layout classical walls used before weddings proceed. What we refused: tarpa concentric ring, harvest dance figures inside square, multicolor deity fill, perspective depth. What we kept legible: chevron zigzag inner border, four grain stalks, kalash zigzag bands, vessel-on-head carriers, horned animal pair. Light density (~44% ochre) preserves sacred enclosure breathing room.
