We briefed this devotional pair around the oldest tenderness in the Annapurna story: Shiva, lord of renunciation, kneels to receive rice from the goddess of food, and the whole picture rests on that bowl passing between them. A facing-pair composition keeps her standing dignity and his kneeling humility in one balanced span, the silver bowl held at the exact centre where their hands almost meet. We gave her the brick-red sari that carries Kalighat's married-woman warmth and kept Shiva in ash-grey with his crescent, topknot, cobra and leopard-skin so the iconography reads at a glance, then left the ground plain so nothing competes with the offered spoon. The boneless shading rounds her forearm and his cupped palms — the gesture is the entire devotion.

  • Natural-oak frame on warm-white walls keeps the cream ground and brick-red sari glowing
  • Hang near a dining table or kitchen shelf where the feeding gesture reads as a household blessing
  • Pairs with the Lakshmi-owl and Shiva-Parvati devotional prints for a Bengali deity wall
  • Off-white mount gives the plain ground room — the empty paper is part of the Kalighat look
