We briefed this as a central-figure workshop scene honouring the Padmasali weaver lineage, because their story is best told at the loom itself, not as a portrait. The weaver sits dead-centre with his arm raised mid-throw so the eye reads the shuttle first, then follows the warp up to the hung thread bundles and out to the women winding and sorting yarn around him — the whole household that a single handloom depends on. Medium-light fill keeps the vermilion ground open behind the loom frame so the striped cloth and the baskets of coloured spools read as the bright detail. The colour does the work the Nakashi way: green, yellow, blue and red yarn against the flat red, no shading, so the warp threads themselves carry the picture.
