Israel Wall Art

Israel — 3 museum-grade prints drawn from its heritage. The Lavi program symbolized Israel's push for strategic autonomy in combat aircraft at a moment when the F-16 had become America's preferred export fighter. Cancellation remains one of the most debated decisions in Israeli aerospace history — advocates argue the industrial base and jobs justified continuation; critics cite cost and diplomatic friction with Washington. Israel designated the F-16I Sufa — Hebrew for storm — under Peace Marble V, the largest F-16 acquisition in IAF history. The two-seat-only configuration carries IAI-built conformal fuel tanks, a dorsal avionics spine, and Israeli electronic-warfare and helmet-cueing systems integrated on Block 52 airframes assembled at Fort Worth. The 69th Squadron — Tayeset 69, nicknamed the Hammers — operates the F-15I Ra'am as Israel's principal long-range strike platform from Hatzerim in the Negev. Delivered from 1998 as a customised F-15E derivative, the Ra'am pairs extended-range conformal tanks with Israeli avionics and weapons integration that stretched IAF reach across the Middle East while retaining the Eagle's air-superiority pedigree.
